PEREK IN THE PARK
Beginning this Shabbat, July 19, Applewood Park is again the place to
be on Shabbat afternoon in Hampstead. Children of all ages play freely
in the playground. Rabbi Whitman and Rabbi Steinmetz co-teach Pirkei Avot
for adults at 6 PM, weather permitting. Refreshments are served and everyone
is invited. This is a wonderful weekly event that brings together every
part of our community. Please join us.

§ DAF YOMI - Daf Yomi (page a day) is the schedule of studying a
page of Talmud a day, every day. This is a great opportunity to delve
into the heart of Jewish learning and get your day started with intellectual
and spiritual vigor. Daf Yomi meets on Shabbat at 7:40 a.m., Sunday at
7 a.m., and Monday - Friday during breakfast after Shacharit, You can
attend every day or once in a while.
§ WEEKLY TALMUD CLASS - Each week we touch on issues of history,
philosophy, law, rituals, ethics, spirituality, and much more. Join us
each Shabbat afternoon as we study Masechtah Makkos, 30 minutes before
Minchah, with Chazzan Sheni Alex Zwiebel. Please see our schedule for
exact time. All men and women are invited.
